Yesterday, I sat on my sofa all day thinking about this dilemma.  I took my PowerBook G4 15″ and started researching the net. Surprisingly I found this information. WARNING: Don’t download anything from the Internet… it is illegal. If you choose not to listen to me, here is how I would do it (only if I was in civil disobedience).

Step ONE: go to this website

You are done…

copy and paste the URL from youtube and that website will convert it into any format.

That is the easiest way to do it.  If you want to do it the long  way, here it is.

STEP ONE:

go to www.google.com search for any video converter.

STEP TWO:

Download that program and copy the URL from Youtube and paste on that program and there you will have videos from youtube on your computer.

PS: this is illegal so don’t do it.

Clarkstown police said the unidentified man was crossing the street from the Palisades Center mall toward the supermarket when he was hit by a car headed toward Nanuet.

“We don’t know who he is. … He had no ID on him,” Sgt. Steve Chernick said at the scene, while several other crime scene and accident investigators were at work.

A long line of westbound Route 59 traffic was diverted through the mall so investigators could examine the roadway.

One police officer could be seen shining a flashlight on a black sneaker that was lying in the middle of the road.

Cones, flares and police cars positioned across the street at the accident site served to prevent motorists departing the mall from entering Route 59.

Investigators were trying to track down the victim’s relatives based on information provided by Nyack Hospital, where the man had been taken by the Nyack Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The victim sustained serious head, leg and internal injuries, police said.

The driver, an unnamed Nanuet man, was not charged last night.

No further details were available. Investigators were expected to remain on the scene until midnight or later.

Pedestrian struck by car identified

Clarkstown police have identified the young man who was struck by a car while crossing Route 59 on Saturday evening near the Palisades Center as Pedro Sanchez of Stony Point. Sgt. Steven Chernick said Sanchez, who is in his mid-20s, was in serious condition and was being treated at Nyack Hospital for internal injuries, and injuries to his head and legs. Police did not release the identity of the driver, a male from Nanuet. The driver has not been charged. Police are still investigating the case, Chernick said.

Well… After a long and not so fantabulous week I must say I am very happy that it is Sabbath. I can chill with my family (I wonder where they are…) and REST! And most importantly forget about that nasty to-do list sitting on my desk at wor… Sorry that should be a swear word on sabbath!

A lot of people ask what I do and what is the point of it all. Well for one Roger, I don’t turn into a pumpkin, though I must say cost of living/stress would be next to nil. Not a bad idea… Anyway, here’s a brief overview. Feel free to comment on what you do on Sabbath or what it means to you.

It all started a bunch of years ago when God puffed all of this universe into existence (Did you know if gravity’s pull was just a little stronger or a little weaker we couldn’t exist?). Once he finished, God rested and started this wonderful institution we call sabbath.

Until 321A.D., Sabbath was the 7th day of the week for most Christian/religious beliefs. Then, Constantine issued an edict which changed Sabbath to the day of the Sun god or Sunday for Christian churches (today, the Catholic church).

Then, along came Martin Luther, among other, who got frustrated with Christianity in his time and era, and started the protestant reformation. Over the next several hundred years, different church groups formed and of those, several decide to returned to the 7th-day Sabbath.

Whether you believe that it should be from sundown to sundown or sunup to sundown what you do in it, is what really matters. In the traditional form people avoiding shopping, leisure activities, and laziness. They spend time with family, reflect on their blessing and try to help others. Some Christians attend church, (25-40% in the US) and do missionary work in the evening.

I pretty much spend time with my family, sleep, go to church, visit old friends and enjoy nature in some sort of fashion. My favorite part of church is praise and worship. For all you who didn’t know, I love to sing. Gynthia used to always call me out for singing in high school (I have gotten better, really.) I don’t think i could survive without Sabbath rest. I love the “escape” from all the things that gives us heart attacks and aneurysms.
